06 Dec PANIRA Healthcare Clinic is here to serve the community
Healthcare expenses can be overwhelming for many of us and can be extremely stressful for families on unemployment or struggling with life’s unforeseen circumstances.
Recognizing that need for affordable and free healthcare in Collier County several years ago, husband and wife team Lawrence J. Egger, PA-C and Geneve Mongene-Egger RN/BSN, made it their goal to do something about it. As a result of their hard work and perseverance, they founded PANIRA Healthcare Clinic in 2015 as a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit, walk-in/primary care clinic in East Naples. With a combined 39 years of healthcare experience, the couple is actively providing charitable medical care to the community five days a week.
The community clinic serves low-income, uninsured, insured, Medicaid and Medicare participants and requires a dedicated team of practitioners, volunteers, and donors. The goal is to reach those who cannot receive treatment due to financial burdens. Keeping medical services affordable and convenient for the uninsured, low-income and/or no income individuals and families is the mission.
Currently, positive COVID-19 cases are on the rise and PANIRA Healthcare wants to help in getting the pandemic under control by reminding the community to get tested, get treated and stop the spread.
With the assistance of a Collier Cares Grant, PANIRA can offer affordable PCR and antibody rapid COVID-19 testing daily with results in 15 to 30 minutes. The testing fee is well below the average cost of other health facilities in the area.
Whether a mom needing healthcare for her child, a family member, or anyone needing healthcare services, PANIRA Healthcare Clinic is ready to serve; they want to keep the community healthy.
WHERE: The walk-in/primary care clinic is located at 4975 Tamiami Trail East in Naples, Florida.
DAILY COVID TESTING: Appointments may be made by calling 239-529-5580. Walk-ins are welcome.
